How circle stays honest

Most dating apps make more money the longer you stay. That single fact bends every design decision against you. circle is built so our incentives point the other way — and so you can check it, not just trust it.

We succeed when you leave — well.

Our one north-star metric is departures that went well: a real connection, or a clean, respectful non-match. Not daily active users. Not time in app. Not messages sent. If you found what you came for and rolled on with your life, that is a win we count.

We do not sell your attention.

No ads. No engagement targets. No infinite queue engineered to keep you scrolling. There are no streaks, no “someone is waiting” nudges, and — deliberately — no push notifications at all. You come here when you choose to.

We do not sell your data.

The consent dashboard lists every use of your data, each one revocable. There is no “share with third parties” option because the option does not exist in our system. One tap deletes your account and your data for real.

Our pricing is flat and transparent.

When circle charges, it will be a simple, flat price — never pay-to-win visibility, never a paywall in front of the people who might be good for you, never dynamic pricing that charges you more the more you want it. Nothing about who you get to meet is for sale.

You can hold us to it.

These are structural, not slogans: the no-queue, no-notification, no-score, no-data-sale choices are built into how the product works, described in our open design spec. If we ever drift, it will show up there first.

circle is a small, deliberately un-scalable idea: help two whole people meet, then get out of the way. Begin as a circle →
